Our Office Philosophy
Every child should grow up with a great smile, free of pain, and without fear of going to the dentist.
Your child deserves a great smile now and in the future! We understand and stress the importance of early dental visits and the establishment of good preventive habits early in life. While it is usually easy to fix your child’s cavity, it is very difficult to prevent the cavity in the first place. Our office focuses on providing the education patients and parents need for proper dental habits and preventive care. We encourage parents to take an active role in the daily oral health care of their children. With the tools and knowledge we provide as well as good early dental habits, we can work together to provide your child with the confidence and happiness that comes with a beautiful smile.
No child should have to experience pain or discomfort from their teeth. Whether the pain is caused by an infection, a cavity, or an accident that breaks a tooth, every child has the right to be out of discomfort as soon as possible. Our office takes the issue of relieving pain in children very seriously. We provide attention, time, and compassionate care during this time of need to help your child smile again.
We believe that every child has the ability to be a great dental patient even if they (or their parents) have had dental experiences that were negative in the past. We understand that negative dental experiences for patients and their parents can create a fear that is very real. Dr. Cox relies on his specialty training in children’s behavior, his personal experience, and his compassion for his patients to help eliminate those fears. We focus on having fun and easy appointments with positive praise for our patients to reinforce their good experiences. Our goal is to have your child overcome any dental fear and actually enjoy visiting the dentist.
